Herts 2003

The show this year went very well. We started by takeing all the club stuff to the show ground on Thursday night with the help of Chris Kania’s Works van (thank you to 'Gill’s Plumbing Centre' Welwyn Garden City). We set up on the Friday at Langleybury, and unlike last year the weather kept rain free, all that came had a good time and a very relaxed evening.

Saturday morning time to check all the signs on the road (next year can someone help with this a few days before show) this is a very hard and sometimes dangerous job but all went well. Many cars started to arrive from many different clubs and pitched up their tents. Time for the treasure Hut which was put together by Marie Cowham those who went out said they really enjoyed it.

Now time to start the BQ for tonight's disco with the help of Gwyn and myself all was put together on time. The nights entertainment was supplied by Martin Major and James Slatter. As the night wore on with every body having fun it was time for the fancy dress , there was only one Adult which was Lori Grundon as Mini Mouse but there was a few children dressed up so we decided to give all a prize.

Sunday morning was a very early start for some, with the gate having to be manned from 6am and the Breakfast needing to be cooked and ready for 8am. As the day wore on all seemed to be having fun joining in the various events which were laid on. The show was one of the best so far so the committee would like to thank every one who helped:
